Equine Sports Massage
Equine bodywork is a hands-on therapy that helps improve balance, flexibility, and mobility in horses. It can also reduce pain and inflammation, leading to improved performance and reduced stress. Kayde's integrated therapies involve gentle rebalancing of the horse's myofascial system, reducing tension and stiffness, loosening joints, tendons, and ligaments, and improving range of motion.
Equestrian Integrated Therapies
Riders must maintain a relaxed physical state at all times to achieve optimal performance. A tense rider not only feels uncomfortable in the saddle but also creates an unnatural position on the horse, which can lead to an imbalance and ultimately affect the horse's flexibility and cause pain. I offer a massage style specifically designed for riders, which is similar to the techniques I use on horses.
Maintenance Bodywork
I offer bodywork on a regular basis to equine athletes and equestrians as part of their wellness program. Incorporating bodywork into your routine will help improve performance, and recover faster from more intense workouts with less stiffness and soreness. It can even help prevent injuries by relieving conditions that commonly lead to injury before they get worse. Bodywork is recommended every 2-4 weeks for horses in full work, and as needed every 2-4 months for pleasure horses.
